Excel Oluwajomiloju Jeff-Agboola, a 400level student in the department of Microbiology of Joseph Ayo Babalola University has bagged scholarship to the postdoctoral level after emerging winner of Queen of Aso Agriculture pageant competition.
Speaking to the Public Relations Unit of the University in a telephone interview, Excel revealed that JABU contributed to her emergence as Queen of the competition. In her words “JABU also contributed to my success because I was able to sustain my spiritual and social life.
I am a child of God and the JABU environment assisted me in been prayerful and provided opportunities to engage myself in various activities which has improved my competency considerably”.
On future engagements after graduation from the University, the newly crowned Queen of Aso Agriculture stated that she intends to follow through with her postdoctoral programme immediately after service to her motherland.
Excel who revealed that she had been in search of a contestable pageantry void of unnecessary display of nudity stated that intending ladies interested in competing at pageantries should endeavor to follow the tenets of Godly living through set goals for achievement.
She further advised parents to encourage their children in the showcase of their talents for proper upbringing. “My father is a General Overseer of a Church and my Mother, a Pastor and an Academic; they are my role models…”
