The results of the Basic Education Certificate Examination and the Joint Senior Secondary class 2 (SS2) promotion examination conducted by the ministry for the year 2017/2018 academic year has been released.
The results which were approved by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Mr. Femi Agagu was made available by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr Steve Awosika in his office at the ministry on Monday.
Awosika stated that the prompt release of the results is in recognition of the importance of education to the present administration and its commitment to the development of the sector.
He also reiterated the commitment of the tstate government in making education a top priority in its platform for change agenda for a rapid development of the socio-economic strides of the state.
He therefore called on all principals of schools concerned across the state to come for the collection of the results at the ministry without any further delay.
He added that the ministry is now well equipped with modern and latest equipment to ensure proper conduct of examinations, enhance prompt release of results as well as prevent examination malpractices.
