Our financial habits determine whether we will succeed or not. It’s axiomatic that people with negative habits get negative results, while people with positive habits achieve positive results.

Simply put habits are the routine behaviors that define what we do on a regular basis and dictate how we will react to any given situation.

What are those successful habits we need to develop to become financially prosperous. Like every aspect of life, financial growth is a journey that begins with a clear understanding of where we are today, so we need to start with an honest assessment . Put a price tag on the life you really want .Take a close and honest look at where you are financially.

To some, wealth looks like a mirage. Some could not gain financial freedom because of the environment where they developed. To them, they have never for once stayed in an environment where the people are wealthy, it never occurred to them. It is a misconception.

To spend your time doing what you want, you will need to have a certain amount of money, or income stream, to pay for the financial lifestyle you want for you and your family. This is where the action begins. You need to get a very clear picture and honest picture of where you are financially so that you can calculate how much money you will need to enjoy life and do what you want passionately to do.

Your financial freedom starts when you become the boss of your business. Your financial freedom starts by looking for a business that allows you to do what you love and providing what customers want and are willing to pay for. One of the greatest challenges for some people in starting business is the challenge of leaving the security of a paid job. For some it is the issue of choosing the right idea to turn into a successful business.

This of course is a leap to financial freedom. When you take such bold step you are on the journey of financial freedom.

Starting a business without giving up your paid job is to actually undertake a pilot while still working. This you can do by carrying out some test marketing, in order to test the market or gauge how responsive people are to your product service. What kind of work or business lifestyle would you prefer?

Would you like to work at home, work away from home, or both?

Once you identify a potential business you may want to get into, do your research. Read, learn all you can. Talk to people who are in it, what is the profit potential? How much capital would be involved?

Your journey to financial freedom can start from this level.

Employers do not say all they think, but they detect very quickly the earmarks of superiority. They keep their eyes on employees who have the  stamp of excellence upon them, who take pains with their work, who do it to a fine finish.
