Encomiums were poured on Pastor Tunde Ayodele by different artistes from all over the country as the National Welfare Officer and the former Governor, Gospel Music Artiste of Nigeria launched his fifth album titled: “My year of joy, Odun ayo mi”.
Among the gospel musicians that graced the occasion was the GOMAN Governor in Ondo State, Rev. Akinadewo. He commended the artiste for a job well done, and also appreciated the massive cooperation of the members of the association for turning up and those who could not make it to the event but sent their representatives.
The Governor said this type of co-operation was what he expected from the members.
In his words: “I have never seen this type of cooperation in this association ever since it was formed, I admonish this continue, as I pray that God will uphold you.
He also appreciated the organiser of the programme for the way it was organised and properly coordinated.

Another popular artiste, who spoke with Friday Extravaganza, Evangelist Seto Akinsete Akinwande said she came to felicitate with the celebrant for well packaged album. According to her, Pastor Ayodele is a great gospel singer who has won so many souls to God through his album especially the one titled “Ona Tooro, according to her, the album is a must have for all Christians who are heaven bound.
She also commended the support given to him by GOMAN. The association is making wave across the country, “If you are in GOMAN you are not alone, the Lord is glorified in you, you are promoted,” she said, she commended the leadership quality of the National President and the state governor of the association. She advised the celebrant to be focused and continues the good work he is doing in the music world.
Pastor Oluyemi Isaac, who mentors Ayodele said he was happy for what is happening in the life of the celebrant. According to him Pastor Tunde Ayodele was a rascal, when he was young but today God has taken over his life and his ministry has been blessing lives. He urged him not to lose focus and to put his trust in God. He also called parents not to give up on their children, and to keep praying for them, saying that the God that makes pastor Ayodele a useful instrument in His hand will do same for their children.
Elder Gideon Omotosho from CAC Oke Isegun, Akure said Pastor Ayodele has influenced life for Jesus in his humility and gentleness and his songs are full of inspirations from God nobody listens to Ayodele music and remains the same, advising him to continue in his service to God and humanity.
The celebrant, who was elated said, he thanked God for the success of the launching which he described as overwhelming. He said in his twenty years in the music industry he has never seen the type of support and well attended programme like this before, thanking his association for the massive support they gave him.
He said he has been singing from his childhood, “I have been in choir for over 30 years, I started from Isalu C.A.C in Idanre, but in the year 2000 I started as full time gospel musician, my first outing was in Ikere Ekiti, Rev. Bode Ezekiel was my boss.
“I have faced so many challenges such as lack of sponsors, finance and distribution of my work, but I thanked God for the present leadership of GOMAN both at state and National levels, who have been assisting us in combating these challenges.”
I titled my latest album as the year of my joy because at the beginning of this year God told me that this year is my year of joy and since the beginning of the year I have been moving from one joy to the other.
The highlight of the event was the standing performance of GOMAN members.
