The Chairman of Ondo State Hospitals Management Board, Dr Niran Okunrinboye has commended the members of staff of the board for their proactiveness in ensuring that the state’s health sector attains greater level.
Okunrinboye gave the commendation during the new year prayer meeting held at the premises of the board in Akure.
The Chairman also thanked Governor Olusegun Mimiko for giving him the privilege to move the board forward.
Okunrinboye urged the staff not to relent in giving their best in their duties.
He charged them to shun violence while discharging their duties, saying they should share ideas together to achieve a common goal.
Okunrinboye enjoined the staff to always pray and be their brothers’ keepers at all times.
He therefore prayed that the year 2017 will be juicy, saying that God will change Nigeria for better.
He advised them to extend their high level of cooperation to the incoming Board members, adding that as they are working for people, they are also working for God.
The Chairman further advised them to make integrity their watchword, work diligently and be committed to duty.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the Board, Dr Niran Ikuemola enjoined the staff to be more active this year to ensure qualitative healthcare delivery in the state.
He further advised them to be diligent at work and also seek the wisdom of God always.
Ikuemola urged them to put God first and allow Him to use them and not be bordered about the situation of the country, noting that God’s grace is sufficient for them.
