Supervisor tasks Ose people on civic responsibilities

The people of Ose Local Government area of Ondo State have been charged to support the current administration in the state by performing their civic responsibilities.

A caretaker supervisor in the local government, Hon. Oluropo Arowosafe gave the charge at the Divine Agenda Praise Night held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Idogun to replicate the state governor’s praise night at the grassroots.

Arowosafe who represents Idogun Ward 4 in the local government stressed that aside replicating the governor’s praise night, the event is also aimed at uniting all quarters and inhabitants of the community through prayers and regular praises.

The caretaker supervisor who used the programme to empower widows with cash gifts so that they can have means of sustenance, however appealed to people of the area to ensure that they pay their taxes for the development of the communities.

He also emphasized on the need for communities to be clean always by participating in environmental sanitation.

He highlighted his visions for the community as ensuring unity among its sons and daughters, getting the youth positively engaged and beautification of the centre of the community.

The praise night which was organized by him in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Idogun Chapter featured empowerment of widows, choir ministrations and launching of the 2016 CAN calendar.

Some of the beneficiaries of the first batch of the empowerment programme which ranges from N10,000 appreciated the kind gesture of the giver, saying it will go a long way to start something and thereby lessen their suffering.
